What Causes Constant Need To Stretch After A Back Surgery?
My husband has had back surgery and 3 spinal fluid repairs and was in the hospital for 6 weeks to treat MRSA he is now home and he is having periods of constant need to stretch and it s painful what could be causing the feeling of constant stretching?
It could be due to muscle spasms that is quite common after spine surgery. You can take him to a physiotherapist and exercises might help to relieve spams. He might also require muscle relaxants like Baclofen for symptomatic relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
