What Causes Constant Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have had a cramp like pain in my lower abdominam for over a month now and it got worse during my last period which started 38 days ago I usually have a cycle that lasts 28 days which means I m late but the last I had unprotected sex (which was for like a minute max we stopped because we didn t have protection) was on the first day of my last period and my period last 5 days and sperm can only survive up to 6 days or so which means if sperm happen to have gotten inside me which is unlikely it would have died long before I was ovulating so there is a very unlikely chance that I am pregnant (I haven t taken a home test yet so I m not sure if I am or not) so I have no clue what s wrong with me and it would really help if you could give me an idea to what s wrong or what I can do that would be fantastic thanks

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constant lower abdominal pain which seems to be due to disturbance of electrolytic balance of body due to excessive production of acid and it could be due to food intolerance, food allergy , bacterial or viral infection. Abdominal pain can also occur due to condition like UTI. You should take small quantity of food and avoid large intake at a single time. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like ornidazole , albendazole , omeprazole along with loperamide. You should eat light and non spicy , eat fresh fruits and vegetables and eat fruits like banana. Take oral rehydrating solution as well. You should avoid intake of outside food. Apply warm compresses on abdomen .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
