What Causes Constant Fever In Spite Of Medication?

Dear sir, I am suffering from fever last five days. Doc had given me nizer and cefpodoxime 100mg for three days but when fever still persist doc gave me cefpodoxime 200 mg twice. Now I have little fever I want to ask u which kind of fever is this is it viral or bacterial shd I go for blood tests?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have high fever despite of antibiotics.
You have high chance of viral fever. Its common in viral fever. You should go for complete blood count. Check your platelets count regularly. Consult your doctor and take treatment according to your blood report.
