What Causes Constant Dizziness While Having Diabetes?

Hello, The last 2 days I have had almost constant dizziness. I can still function but feel light headed most of the time. I am a type 1 diabetic (bg has been normal) and have been checking my blood pressure ( average has been 133/72) The light headed feeling comes for a few seconds, goes away for a few seconds, then back again, and has continued like this almost constantly. I haven t had any recent changes in diet or life style. Any ideas? Thank you, Najat Palmer

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there. I have read through your question and would like to tell you that since you are a type 1 diabetic it is possible that you are having hypoglycemic episodes which are causing the dizziness. I would advise you to check your Blood sugar the next time you get an episode. If that be the case you may have to get your medicine doses adjusted. You have to consult your physician for that. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
