Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 47 year old woman and I have had problems with dizziness for four days now and today I am experiencing nausea. I haven t made an appointment with my doctor yet but was wondering what the issue could be. I do not have any health problems and my blood pressure is very good.
HI Well come to HCM If this is sudden onset of symptom then this could be due to vestibular dysfunction, may be some time due to viral infection with proper diagnosis and right choice of drug this comes around, routine blood work may be needed, with EKG, hope this information helps you, take care.
Hello. What kind of dizziness? Spinning of your surroundings or you feel like you are the spinning? Is it like being in a boat kind of dizziness? Is it worse on turning your head or looking up and down? How is your stress level and sleep? You may have vertigo that can be an inner ear problem or a brain problem. You also need to check if you have anemia which can cause the same symptoms. So a complete blood count, an ENT or a neurologist consult and pregnancy test maybe needed. If you had a hysterectomy a pregnancy test might not be needed.
