Hello,

You should not neglect your condition. Your differential diagnosis is:
1. Pneumonia
2. Acute bronchitis

Your work-up done as follows:
1. Auscultation
2. CBC
3. Sputum examination
4. Chest x-ray
5. Spirometry to assess severity and further management

For mucus drainage Ambroxol syrup is helpful. You can be prescribed Levofloxacin like broad-spectrum antibiotic course. Drink more water. Steam inhalation done 3 times a day. Consult a physician or pulmonologist for examination and discuss all this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
