i have a constant burning in my throat. Have had an endoscopy and the bravo ph procedure performed. All turned out well. No ppi's helped. was told i have barretts esophagas, but then that was ruled out after the bravo procedure. Foods do not have any connection. I am so baffled.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constant burning sensation of throat which are pointing towards a condition known as gastroesophageal reflux disease which leads to release of oesophageal sphincter and causes excess acid production. Need not to worry. You should take meal in small and frequent intervals. Avoid large intake of meals at a time. You should exercise on daily basis. Keep bed little higher on head side. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order blood test , oral biopsy , saliva measurement and allergy test to confirm the diagnosis. For now avoid carbonated drinks , spicy food , alcohol and acidic foods. Take combination of antibiotic along with anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
