What Causes Congenital Hemangioma In Lower Abdomen?

Hello. I noticed tonight my 20 month old daughter has very visible blue veins on her chest. She has a congenital hemangioma on the side of her lower abdomen and there have always been very visible blue veins stemming from that up but tonight was the first time I noticed them all over her chest. Should I take her to the doctor?

You should consult your doctor. These hemangiomas are congenital malformations of blood vessels, also known as hematomas. Some of these disappear at the age of one year, others by the age of seven years, while some persist requiring surgical intervention.
