I have a thyroid tumor that has a collection of blood around it. The nodule is sore and I often loose my voice or it becomes very raspy. Even though I use my voice all day long to teach, I have never had this happen to me until recently. My questions are.. First, is the blood collection around the tumor a normal occurrence for a benign nodule? Second, should I be concerned about the changes in my voice?
