What Causes Colitis?

I was diagnosed with colitis but they haven t figured out what s causing it. My WBC has gone up to 31000 and 18000 and have been hospitalized twice because of it. I ve had two colonoscopies and more than 10 CTs since the end of April. I am having pain in my stomach but am tired of going through the CTs and not figuring this out. Should I go to the ER and should I do another ct because they say they have to do it every time.
