What Causes Coldness In Hands And Feet After Recovering From Viral Infection?

Hi doc my son is 3 yrs and 3 mos he just get discharge from the hospital after having a viral now he is at home he was vomiting now he has stopped, I am very concerned about his hands and feet are freezing cold but hus body is warm temp is up and down no symptoms plz help

Hello..thank you for your query,
This problem is common after a viral infection in children.
As the immunity power decreases after infectin.
Sometime it is also a symptom of peripheral vascular disease..
I shall advise you to keep childs hands n feet worm..look for any cyanosis when those are cold.any decrease in power,tingling sensation...if these occurs consult your pediatrician asap.
