What Causes Cold, Bluish-purple Thigh?

I m a 59 year old woman. My left thigh is cold to the touch and is purple in color. 15 years ago I had a really bad car accident that broke my pelvic bone and had surgery with screws to fix it. As a result I suffer chronic pain there and in my back. I ve seen 7 doctors about my thigh but none have figured it out. They have ruled out a blood clot. What could be casing the discoloration and the cold to the touch?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a traumatic purpura.
My treatment advice is -
1. Take good nutritious diet full of vitamin c like citrus fruits and milk.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
