What Causes Cold And Fever After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hello sir, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend from past 6-7 months and after that I was getting cold and fever every month. Till now I have 7-8 cold and fever infections. I don t know about my boyfriend s HIV status. Is this the sign of hiv infection? I am really very tensed. Please help me

Hello,

No, it could be just honeymoon rhinitis. Usually after sex and the day after you will have sinusitis. HIV infection will make you to repeated symptoms and if you want to rule out then just get it checked. There are on spot HIV test also. Get tested for HIV 1 and 2 both. Don't worry and use safe sex methods. Use condoms.
