What Causes Cold And Cough?

I have had a cold since Saturday night. It consists of a runny nose, congestion, and a really nasty cough. The mucus is really thick when I can bring it up. Now tonight I got a really bad pain in my neck and it hurts to move it. Wondering if it is anything I should be worried about/go in for tonight.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having viral infection.
Take analgesic, decongestant medicine round the clock for 2-3 days.
Take some cough sedative as well.
Avoid cold drink and junk food.
Ok and take care.
