What Causes Cobwebs On The Hands Of A MSA Suffering Person?

I have MSA Multiple Systems Atrophy, which is a very rare neurodegenerative terminal disease. I have just noticed a new symptom where I feel like I have cobwebs in my hands. I do have a diagnosed left carpal tunnel compression which is being looked after. I d just like to know what you think could be causing this. I hope you can help me. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the cobwebs on the hands of multiple system atrophy patient is seemingly in concern with subcutaneous blood vessel leakage via platelet disorder and the same should be evaluated with bleeding, clotting and prothombin time via lab reports.

Kindly do discuss the need of relevant evaluation with or without doppler of the upper limb system with your doc during next planned follow up examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
