What Causes Cobalt And Chromium Poisoning?

I have had this seating issue since my second hip replacement due to getting the bad hip replacement, now it has just gotten worse over time, they told me I had high levels of cobalt & chromium poisoning from the first hip before they removed it, does that stay in your system or is that something over time that will go away, I didn t have this issue before all this hip problems as I went through menopause when I was 35 years old any ideas

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Difficulty in sitting could be due to hip replacement and it may not be due to cobalt and chromium. It is just out of the question and forget about this, as a matter of fact post surgical phase in hip replacement is painful and it takes some time for complete healing, in my opinion physiotherapy will helps you a lot.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
