General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Brief answer: Cloudy urine is a sign of urinary tract infection (UTI). Recurrent urinary tract infection is a bit of concern.

Explanation: My opinion is that urinary tract infection presents with burning micturition, change in color of urine, lower abdominal pain, etc. Signs include loin tenderness, supra pubic tenderness, fever, etc., investigations needed in recurrent UTI include CBC, fasting, and postprandial blood sugar, pelviabdominal ultrasonography and may be abdominal x-ray. I suggest my patients the following: prescribe antibiotic course for 7 to 10 days up to 14 days. Check imaging study results and treat accordingly.

The information provided by you is not sufficient to provide a good opinion. If someone comes to me with this condition I would ask them about: other risk factors like diabetes, multiple stone formation.

Conclusion: I suggest you check with your physician and adhere to your medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
