What Causes Cloudy Urination After Taking Epimag Effervescent Powder?

Doctor, I had three kidney stones in which two was removed with the use of natural medicine but still, one exists that is of 12mm. My friend suggested with the Epimag effervescent powder, so I started to take it nearly three weeks. Since two days I have found that the urine is cloudy in nature, no other side effects. Is the kidney stone getting dissolved and is seen as such...? I am taking this medicine every morning in empty stomach. Hope it s safe for me to use it!!!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Magnesium citrate is a saline laxative that is thought to work by increasing fluid in the small intestine.
it doesn't have any effect on kidney stones.
The cloudy utine may be sign of infection or kidney salts and epithelial cells from stone presence.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
