What Causes Clitoral Discharge?

I Googled Clitorius discharge and Smegma was the result. There is no swelling or redness, just a lot of discharge. There is also an odor. Have had for quite some time. I am 53 years old. Is this an indication that something is wrong and is there a way to get rid of it. My husband and I are still very sexually active.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem can be most likely fungal infection. Applying antifungal creams like Candid B will be helpful. You can also use intimate wash liquids to normalize the bacterial flora there. Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash the genital area. Instead you can use just warm water or saline.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
