What Causes Clicking Sounds In Knee After Undergoing Knee Replacement Surgery?

my boyfriend had a knee replacement about 8 months and he doesn t seem to get better his knee makes a clicking sound when he walks. he went for his 77 therapy session today. Went to his dr yesterday and he said he is ok and that the sound is metal on plastic the physical therapist said that doesn t sound right. who is correct

I have gone through your query. Clicking sound is usual in many after undergoing knee replacement. This will disappear with time. It is due to contact of metal and plastic like your doctor said. Nothing to worry about that. Have follow up with your orthopedic surgeon if you have any discomfort or pain.
