What Causes Clicking Sensation In The Jaw Indicate?
I ve been experiencing a lot of jaw clicking constantly throughout the day. It s not painful and is only located on the right side of my face. It s not painful but after continuous months of constant jaw clicking it s becoming to be a nuisance. Do you know what this could be or how I might be able to fix it?
As per your query you have clicking sensation in the jaw. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , Jaw joint clicking can be due to traumatic injury to jaw joint , wrong occlusion or dental infection . Throat infection can also cause such symptoms.I would suggest you to consult dentist . Doctor may recommend X-ray and examine the jaw moments physically. Doctor mat prescribe anti inflammatory along with muscle relaxant. Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist. For now apply warm compresses on jaw , eat soft food and do not open your mouth wide.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
