What Causes Clear Odorless Fluid From Ears?

Every night for the past four months I have been awakened by fluid leaking from my ears. It happens several times a night, alternating from ear to ear it seems. The liquid is clear odorless, water like and there is enough of it each time to soak the side of my head, the shoulder of my pjs and the entire area where my head was on the pillow is saturated. I have been waiting for this to go away, thinking it was allergy related, even though I am not an allergy sufferer. It is not going away. It bothers me quite a bit, please tell me what causes this.

HI
Well come to HCM
Only condition need to be ruled out and that is leaking of CSF, and for that it is better to investigate the fluid, and CT brain also advisable, if this is not the CSF then this could be due to the cold and this could be mucoid, hope this helps.
