What Causes Cicular Ring Like Formation On Penis?

Have noticed gradually over a period of years, but now more and more pronounced, a cartilage like (partial) ring around the circumference of my penis, just below the head on the top side (opposite the sensitive side under the head). Its more obvious during an erection. Its not painful, but I am still worried. Is this a scarring from prolonged masturbation?

Hi

Based on your symptoms ,the possible cause include lymph-angiosclerosis, enlarged veins or penile tumours. Purple colored ring can represent enlarged veins. Skin colored ring may occur due to the other mentioned causes. Biopsy of the tissue should be done to rule out tumors.

Lymphangiosclerosis the hardening of a lymph vessel connected to a vein in your penis. It often looks like a thick cord wrapping around the bottom of the penis head or along the entire length of shaft.It is usually a benign condition.
