What Causes Chronic Swelling In Eyelid?
my right eyelid is completely swollen shut this has never happened to me I thought it was due to an ingrown hair from plucking my eyebrow but now the whole eye is swollen shut last night and currently its gotten worse since it is now swollen closed all the way.

From history it seems that you might be having infected stye producing swelling, induration and pain.
This shows acute infection and might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Apply hot application.
Put antibiotic eye drops every 2-3 hourly.
