General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to irritation to the nerves from cervical spine problems like spondylosis or disc prolapse. A physical examination by orthopedician followed by MRI if required will be helpful to rule out this. NSAIDs like motrin , muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine and neurotropic drugs will be helpful. Physiotherapy like tens and muscle strengthening exercises along with these will be helpful also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
