What Causes Chronic Pelvic Pain With Diagnosis Of Panniculitis?

I had CT in March for abdominal and pelvic pain showing pannicolitis. I had laporoscopy in April with lymph node bx which was negative for lymphoma. I continue to have chronic pelvic pain...at times I have difficulty walking it hurts so much. I have tried Levsin, Donnetal, Advil...no relief. I can t go on like this.

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the chronic pelvic pain with diagnosis of panniculitis indicate auto immune mediated response of the body which may be in concern with muscle or ligament cramps. The underlying fibrosis of connective tissue does play very major role in development of adhesions and other issues of chronic pelvic pain.

In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do recommend an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis; CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis with or without diagnostic laparoscopy.
