What Causes Chronic Low Grade Fever With Night Sweat?
I am a 61 year woman who has had hysterectomy over 15 years ago, about a month ago I started having a low grade fever and about a week now I am having terrible night sweats can this be menopause or something more serious and I have a low red blood count, can someone please help me!
First you should provide me some more information to make correct diagnosis : is you complaint associated with : loss of appetite and loss of weight in past 2-3 month weakness, cough, swelling in lower limb, chills or rigor .
As you said you are having low RBC count so there are hgher chances of anemia is there but you dont need to worrry ,I suggest you some investigation to help you in confirmation of diagnosis. 1.Complete blood count . 2.Peripheral blood film examination for blood parasite. 2.Thyroid profile
review me after require detail and investigation report to receive complete treatment . Hope you would be satisfied with my answer . Feel free to communicate if any query . regards, Dr.Manish Purohit Infectious disease specialist
