What Causes Chronic Heel Pain And Swelling?
Hi Doctor, I am a 49 year old female and I have been having swelling and pain in the back of my left heel/ankle for three months. I was seen at the urgent care and was given Lidocaine 5% ointment and Hydrocodon-cetaminophen 5-325 for pain and swelling. Would you be able to determine what the possible diagnose is...She mention bone??????

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to orhopedic condition and most common would be due to osteoporosis for diagnosis it is advisable to get done the x-ray, hope this information helps, take care.
