What Causes Chronic Diarrhea While On Cefdinir?
I was put on Cefdinir 10/20/17 due to slight fluid on my right ear, but I had to stop it after only 4 days due to severe diarrhea. The diarrhea let up some after 3 days, but then 4 days after that it s severe again. I normally take a probiotic, and I doubled then tripled my dose in an attempt to counteract the diarrhea. Nothing seems to help. What should I do?

Sorry to know about your condition.
It is not unusual having stomach upset after taking Cefdinir.
It would have been better had you also mentioned about any other medicine that you are taking.
If your diarrhea is still severe after 4 days,please start taking plenty of fluids along with electrolyte powder in order to prevent dehydration.
Additionally you can take Redotril 100 mg (Rececadotril) thrice daily for 2 - to 3 days.
