Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of cough along with phlegm formation can be due to a number of causes like chronic upper respirtory tract infection, bronchitis, allergies, lung infection etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist or Pulmonologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests, chest x ray, sputum culture etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, anti allergics like Levocetrizine, mucolytics like Ambroxol..
You can also do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also avoid spicy and chilled foods and sip plenty of warm water..
Take a bland diet..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
