What Causes Chronic Cough After Insertion Of Cardiac Stents?

My husband had heart attack two weeks ago, stents were placed in one artery. He start taking blood- thinner Brilinta. Start coughing right away, stopped brilinta start taking Plavix. Second week, he continues coughing, cannot breath. So, how long this side effect of Brilinta usually will last? Thanks, Polina

Firstly, a chest X-ray is needed to exclude the lung origin of the cough. Discuss this with your doctor.
