General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here are my thoughts.

Both the times you were awoken and thence you got the tremors of the whole body.
This can possibly be seizures and thus needs the following:
MRI of the brain.
Electroencephalogram.
Tests of blood, particularly for Thyroid function tests.
An opinion of a Neurologist for clinical evaluation, examination and correlation with the reports so that a proper diagnosis and management can be done.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
I find this answer helpful
