What Causes Chronic Anemia?

I developed anaemia and was rushed to hospital where they stopped my Warfarin and Naproxin tablets.
I was given blood transfusions and digoxin plus pills for my stomach and an endoscopy.
I'm going for a colonoscopy in a few days and feel very worried.
please help.
Thank you

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
You have chronic anemia. It can be due to iron deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, chronic blood loss or some other cause. First of all we need to search the cause.

You should go for complete blood count and peripheral smear examination as well as colonoscopy. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
