What Causes Choking Sensation While Eating?

Hello. For the past few days, I ve felt like I m going to choke every time I eat something. I haven t actually choked on anything for 5 or 6 years. Starting tonight, I ve felt like I m going to choke even when I m not eating anything. It may have to do with my braces (I got a new bottom wire on Friday). On Friday night, some pizza crust got stuck in my throat, and right now, there s a tomato skin down there. If this is of any use, I m also a hypochondriac and have social anxiety and OCD. Is there something serious going on, or am I just being paranoid and it ll clear up in a few days?
