What Causes Chills And Low Body Temperature?

Hi, I have been feeling cold for around three weeks now all over. It is very uncomfortable all day long. I have not had a temperature above 98.6 that I am aware of. Is there any reason to be concerned? My blood pressure has been no higher than 120/79 when I checked it. My pulse ox was in the upper 90 s when I checked it and pulse was from the mod 50 s to mid 60 s range. I did have a flu shot last fall. Thank you in advance.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It will probably pass, but a feeling of being cold in conjunction with a low pulse could indicate a metabolic condition, e.g. hypothyroidism. This can easily be assessed by a blood test at your own doctor's. Anorexia is another possible condition to explain your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
