Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Your symptoms suggestive of acute viral or bacterial infection. The source of infection should be searched for by physical examination. Your doctor suspecting kidney infection. So burning micturition, pain in lower back area like symtoms can be present. I suggest you to investigate with urine routine microscopic examination and CBC. Revert back with reports to guide you further.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
