What Causes Child To Breath Heavily With Rapid Movement Of Stomach And Chest?
my seven year od granddaughter wakes in the middle of the night gasping for breath. her stomach and chest is rapidly moving up and down. everybody s talking about sleep apnea or heart. About 2 years ago she played in wet sand that was used to cover a deep ditch that was filled after a tornado. Is it possible to have some kind of parasite present somewhere in her body?

Hi..this is not because of a parasite. I feel that the kid is having panic attacks or night terrors for some reason. If these persist I suggest you see a clinical psychologist for kids. I do not think this is because of an organic cause.
