Hi, Thanks for choosing our forum. Your child has been clearly noted to have an infection with fevers, unsettling coughs and irritability. Has been treated with 2 types cough mixtures, one course of antibiotic and oral steroids already, still running fever and other symptoms,I personally feel that the child had to be investigated furthur if needed with blood tests and radiological screens to rule out atypical infections. Please do visit your pediatrician and suggest your concern to be furthur evaluated. Maybe your child is just going through the settling phase of an illness, but the details and the concerns you have posed makes me suggest this. Don't worry. Things will be fine soon. Regards,Dr.Pravin Asir.
