What Causes Chest-wall Discomfort And Pain In Right Rib And Middle Sternum?
I have chest wall discomforttightness with on and off pain under right ribs and middle sternum, have done bloods, ecg, Echo and stress test and all ok. Cardiologist says not heart related and have had the issue for about a month and is slightly worst now!! Do you have any ideas, I am 56

Kindly get one chest xray PA view, so that we can rule out lungs cause or any ribs fracture.I am doubtful whether you have any cough or bringing out sputum, if so it is related to lungs.Or If you have got hurt previously on the chest, then there could be ribs mild fracture which is making you breathe uncomfortable.Last possibality is hernia which can be made out by X-Ray. So kindly have one X-ray and get back to us.Take care
