Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
23, female A few times in my life I either stretched/took a deep inhale and it caused my chest to seriously hurt right under my lt breast. This has happened 2x, the last time was the first moment that I felt my heart actually throb in my chest. pain went away just a few moments later each time. I am a general ultrasound student, I had a echo student scan me one day and she vis. a small flicker between my ventricles during diastole which the instructors confirmed was a very small defect. and common. I haven t looked into this being a broke student and all but could this be the cause of my symptoms noted earlier? Are their certain things I could be doing to avoid the episodes? Should I see a doctor asap or can this wait til later on in life?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
After reading your history it should be due to some strain to muscle due to some work. Just check when it is being experienced. If its following some heavy work. Avoid such works at a stretch.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Jilu Joseph
