What Causes Chest Pain Followed By Tightness And Stiffness In Neck?

Hi have little sharp pains in my left chest area. The pains come and go but leave a little bit of tightness behind (or is that my nerves) I have stiffness in the center/back of my neck. and I keep burping...I did get scared, so I know I started to panic, but I am calm now. I have been seeing a pulminary dr for a caugh that is has not gone away and some tough breathing now and then. I took my first does of pepcid. (he is seeing if its reflux that is causing the caugh because my lungs..had a scope put in them..and had a colonoscopy and endoscopy all ok.
