Hello,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to statins adverse effects. Is the pain triggered by deep breathing or body movements? This fact could be indicative of a musculoskeletal pain.

Anyway, considering your high cholesterol levels, if the pain persists, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- CPK and liver enzyme levels
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
