What Causes Chest Pain Along With Nasal Congestion?

After suffering with nasal congestion and pain, chest hurting when I breathe overall achy and tired for approximately 3 months with a week or two break in between I went to the dr. yesterday who diagnosed me with asthma asoociated with allergies. Is it normal to be achy, and exhausted from this? I slept 12 hours last night, which I have never done, and I still ache and I m tired. Dr. prescribed Zyrtec once a day, Flonase once a day, and albuterol inhaler not more than 4 times a day

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If fever and body aches are not associated then it can be allergies. Continue to take prescribed medicines. Increased secretion in the lungs and narrowing of airways may be causing pain and weakness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gaurav Katiyar,
