What Causes Chest Infection Despite Having Thyroid Disorder?

Have had bad chest for about7 wks i doc said viral infection went to a and e they gave me steroids could be cleanin products at work doc today wasent sure been home 1 wk no better my job is cleanin toilets doc said my chest sounds clear wot else can it b I have thyroid probs could this b related

No usually no any relationship between your thyroid disease and chest infection or disease. So don't worry about it.

If you have any allergy to cleaning products it will cause recurrent chest problems but it doesn't seems you have recurrent chest problems. So I have doubt regarding this also.

It might be a routine viral infection /acute bronchitis which can last up to weeks sometimes. So at present just wait and watch .

If you need to confirm the things you can ask your doctor about CT scan of chest.
