What Causes Change In Bowel Habits After Cystoscopy?
Had a cystoscopy recently, that traveled through the prostate. Shortly after that I developed a bowel problem which had certain discomfort, mucus, and bowel urgency. An Urgent care facility diagnosed it as colitis and prescribed Lomatil. Could the cystoscopy have anything to do with this condition?

Cystoscopy is usually associated with urinary problems for few days. However, cystoscopy is not associated with alteration of bowel habits.
Colitis is condition that affects the large intestine and is not associated with cystoscopy.
