Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m a 23 year old female. I few months back I had BV and I assumed it went away after treating it with a cream my doctor gave me. Now a sexual partner is complaining of burning while he pees. I have been cleared of any STD s just recently. I currently feel a slight burning after I pee and pain during intercourse. What could this be?
Hi, I think you can be having some vaginal infection and urine infections also. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. Also get a urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any infection. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
