What Causes Burning Sensation On The Tongue And Excessive Sweating?
i have developed allergies to the environment in the last 5 years. right now, i am looking for a new night stand next to my bed. i have brought home 2 different wood stands: one monkey wood and this one is walnut wood. i am feeling it burn a bit on my tongue, lips and eyes. and i am sweating profusely.
The symptoms of burning on lip, tongue and eyes with sweating seems to be due to allergic reaction only..
Trees can at times be culprit therefore for confirmation you need to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and investigations like RAST test, Patch test, Prick test etc can help in ruling out the cause and treatment will be done accordingly..
As of now take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl.. Do cool compresses.. You can keep the wooden stands at considerable distance and avoid touching or coming in contact with it till the cause of allergy is ruled out..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
