Permethrin cream is the causative agent responsible for the burning sensation. When you are given permethrin cream it is advised to you not to apply the cream on the mucosal surface. As you have applied the cream on skin, during the intercourse it is inoculated in the mucosa of the penis which caused a burning sensation to you. Washing with water immediately after the burning sensation can cure the burning and it s harmful effect. In future please take care of this cream while you are doing intercourse. Scabies is very contagious and can transmits to the passive partners. So treatment of both the partner is necessary. If possible avoid the sex until you are fully cured. Otherwise the infection will be maintained between the two. Please complete your treatment to eradicate the infection otherwise it will recur.
