General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The feeling of uncomfortable burning sensation throughout the throat all the way to the wind pipe, pain in between the shoulder blades all indicate that there is severe inflammation of the lower respiratory system.

I would advise you the following:
First of all take bed rest
Keep the room warm and humid.
Take steam inhalation.
Avoid all fumes, smoke, scents and such things.
Consult a Doctor to get clinical evaluation, investigations and proper treatment with antibiotics, decongestants, oral steroids if required.
I find this answer helpful
