What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina?

I hope that you can help me with a problem I ve never had before. I m having burning on the inside of my vagina. I ve tried the medicated summers Eve douche, with no relief. It s not a uti, I ve had one of those before. I can t afford to go to a dr right now as my husband just started a new job. I m 45 year s old going through menopause. Niki Mabie

I can understand your concern.
You are going through menopause. And during this period all women go under hormonal changes.
These cause hormonal imbalance.
So vaginal mucosa becomes dry and gives symptoms of itching and burning of the vagina.
Best treatment is adequate hydration.
So drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
If you are still not improving then consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination of vagina and hormone levels.
You may need hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
